SC-Coastal Conservation Association’s Conservation Day at St. Johns
 
The month of September brought wonderful weather and the chance to organize a family educational event around conservation.  Conservation Day was co-sponsored by CCA and attended by CCA, DNR’s Artificial Reef Team, Dive Team and Crime Lab & Law Enforcement Division, Oyster Recycling Division, Sea Tow of Charleston, SC Aquarium, Hanckel Marine and The Charleston Angler.  
 
It was a day to bring families together on the water to enjoy our waterfront facility and to learn about environmental stewardship and responsibility.  Live flair demonstrations were backed with music, events for the kids and wonderful food.  
 
We plan to make this an annual event.
